Medical Disclaimer
Last updated: April 2026
1. Informational Purpose Only
All content on the GlobMedTrust website — including text, images, procedure descriptions, recovery timelines, clinical techniques, and any other material — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The information presented should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.
2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of this website or communication with GlobMedTrust does not create a doctor-patient relationship. GlobMedTrust is a medical tourism consultancy — not a healthcare provider, hospital, or medical practice. We do not employ, supervise, or direct the medical professionals at our partner clinics. All medical decisions are made between you and your treating physician.
3. Individual Results Vary
All medical and aesthetic procedures carry inherent risks and produce results that vary significantly between individuals. Factors including but not limited to age, health status, body composition, genetic predisposition, lifestyle habits, adherence to pre- and post-operative instructions, and the body's natural healing response all influence outcomes. Before-and-after photographs, testimonials, or case studies shown on this website are illustrative and do not guarantee, predict, or imply any specific outcome for any individual patient.
4. Clinical Information Accuracy
While we strive to ensure the accuracy and currency of all clinical information on this website — including surgical techniques (e.g., titanium staplers, mesh suture, Vaser liposuction), recovery milestones, and safety standards — medical knowledge evolves continuously. We do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify clinical details with your treating surgeon during your consultation.
5. Procedure-Specific Risks
Every surgical and non-surgical procedure described on this website carries specific risks, including but not limited to: infection, bleeding, scarring, asymmetry, nerve damage, anaesthesia complications, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, unsatisfactory aesthetic results, and the potential need for revision surgery. These risks will be discussed in detail during your consultation and in the informed consent documentation provided by the treating clinic.
6. Pre-Existing Conditions
Certain medical conditions — including but not limited to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, blood clotting disorders, and mental health conditions — may affect your eligibility for procedures or increase surgical risk. You are solely responsible for disclosing your complete medical history to both GlobMedTrust and your treating physician. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may endanger your health and invalidate any assurances or guarantees.
7. Third-Party Medical Providers
GlobMedTrust partners with independently accredited clinics and board-certified surgeons in Turkey. While we conduct due diligence in selecting our partners — including verification of accreditations, certifications (e.g., ISO, JCI), and track records — the medical care you receive is provided by independent third-party professionals. GlobMedTrust does not control, direct, or supervise any clinical procedures, medical judgements, or treatment outcomes.
8. No Guarantee of Outcomes
GlobMedTrust does not guarantee any specific medical, surgical, or aesthetic outcome. References to surgeon experience (e.g., years of practice, number of procedures performed), clinical standards, or success rates are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of results for any individual case.
9. Aftercare & Post-Procedure Responsibility
Successful recovery depends significantly on your adherence to post-operative care instructions provided by your surgeon. GlobMedTrust coordinates aftercare support as part of our service packages, but post-procedure medical responsibility rests with you and your treating physician. Once you return to your home country, ongoing medical follow-up is your responsibility. We recommend establishing a relationship with a local physician for post-return monitoring.
10. Emergency Situations
In the event of a medical emergency during your stay in Turkey, you should contact local emergency services immediately (dial 112). GlobMedTrust will assist in coordination where possible, but emergency medical care is provided by the treating facility and emergency services, not by GlobMedTrust.
11. Insurance Recommendation
GlobMedTrust strongly recommends that all patients obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering: medical complications arising from elective procedures, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation/interruption, and repatriation. Proceeding without adequate insurance is at your own risk.
12. Psychological Considerations
Elective medical and aesthetic procedures can have psychological implications. We encourage all patients to carefully consider their motivations and expectations, and to discuss any concerns with a qualified mental health professional if needed. Realistic expectations are essential for a satisfactory outcome.
13. Regulatory & Advertising Notice
GlobMedTrust is not a regulated healthcare provider, pharmaceutical company, or medical device manufacturer. References to specific surgical techniques, medical devices (e.g., titanium staplers, implants), or pharmaceuticals on this website are for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsement, promotion, or advertisement of any specific product. In the United States, medical devices and pharmaceuticals are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); in the EU, by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and national competent authorities. The procedures described on this website are performed in Turkey under Turkish medical regulations. Regulatory approvals, certifications, and standards may differ between jurisdictions. This website does not make claims regarding the safety or efficacy of any specific medical device or pharmaceutical product. Certain US states have specific regulations regarding the advertising of medical and cosmetic procedures. Nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of results, and all content should be read in conjunction with our full Terms of Service.
14. HIPAA Notice
GlobMedTrust is not a 'covered entity' or 'business associate' as defined under the United States Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). As a medical tourism consultancy based outside the United States, we are not subject to HIPAA requirements. However, we are committed to protecting your medical information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and our Privacy Policy, which in many respects provide equivalent or stronger protections.
15. Governing Law
This Medical Disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of EU member states or US states that may apply to you based on your country or state of residence.
