Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) in Turkey

Upper and lower eyelid surgery by specialist plastic surgeons in Istanbul — for a fresher, more rested look.

Eyelid surgery — blepharoplasty — with GlobMedTrust removes excess skin from the upper eyelids or bags under the eyes, or both. It is day surgery: you go back to your hotel the same day.

Eyelid surgery sketch showing upper, lower, and combined upper and lower blepharoplasty: the incision along the natural crease or below the lash line or inside the eyelid, and the three steps: mark the incision, remove excess skin, muscle or fat (lower lids: remove or reposition fat), and close with fine sutures

What Is Blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty is surgery on the eyelids. On the upper lids, the surgeon removes excess skin that makes the eyes look heavy or tired and can sometimes narrow your field of vision. On the lower lids, it reduces bags by removing or repositioning fat.

The incisions follow the natural crease of the upper lid or lie just below the lower lashes, so the scars are well hidden once they have healed.

Who Is It For?

For anyone whose upper lids feel heavy or hooded, or whose lower lids show bags that make them look tired even when rested. During your medical review, your surgeon assesses whether the upper lids, the lower lids or both should be treated, and whether eyelid surgery can be combined with another procedure, such as a facelift.

Why GlobMedTrust

What Sets Us Apart

GlobMedTrust was born out of our founder's own experience: having travelled abroad for plastic surgery, our founder knows first-hand the challenges that come with it — finding the right surgeon, judging quality from a distance and coordinating every detail from another country. That is exactly what GlobMedTrust is for: we take the guesswork and the complexity off your hands, so you can focus on what matters most — your health and your recovery.

All our partner surgeons have more than 19 years of experience. The surgeon selected for you during your medical review performs your operation personally. You meet them in person when you arrive in Istanbul, before your surgery.

Recovery

You can walk from day 1. The main swelling settles after about one week, and your final result shows after 3–6 months. There is no hospital night: most patients stay 1–2 nights in Istanbul, from arrival to the flight home.

What blepharoplasty costs

Treatment in Turkey often costs less than in the UK or US.

Your price depends mainly on these factors: upper lids, lower lids or both; whether fat is removed or repositioned; whether other procedures are combined; your package and length of stay.

Every package includes your treatment; Comfort and Imperial add the hotel, transfers and full aftercare.

Your price comes down to your eyelids: upper, lower or both, and whether fat is removed or repositioned. In a medical review, our medical team assesses exactly that from your photos and medical history and gives you your personal quote.
