Editorial Policy
Our articles and treatment pages help you prepare for surgery abroad. This page explains who writes them, who checks them, and how we keep them accurate.
Who writes our content
Our articles are written by our founder, Sopiko “Sofi” Nurashvili, together with the GlobMedTrust team. Sofi writes from her own experience as a patient and from guiding patients through their treatment in Istanbul.
Who reviews it
Before it is published, every article is reviewed by the GlobMedTrust team in a detailed fact check against publicly available sources, such as medical publications and market studies.
Where medical details come from
Medical details, such as what a procedure involves, how long recovery takes and what the risks are, are based on the guidance of the surgeons who treat our patients and on published sources. Where an article relies on a source, we list it under “Sources” at the end of the article.
Information, not medical advice
Our content is general information and cannot replace a consultation. Questions about your own treatment are answered by your treating surgeon.
Keeping content up to date
Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated. We revise our content when medical guidance, our packages or the way we work change.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, write to us at info@globmedtrust.com. We check every report and correct errors promptly. The “Updated” date on an article shows when it last changed.
What we do not publish
We do not publish GlobMedTrust prices or savings figures. When we cite market data from others, we name the source and the date.
