Can You Trust Online Reviews of Clinics in Turkey?

In short: Reviews help, but they're the start of your research, not the end. Read the critical ones, check how the provider responds, and verify the surgeon and hospital independently.

How to read reviews

  • Read the negative reviews first. Every provider gets some. What matters is what went wrong — and how the provider responded.
  • Look for detail. Genuine reviews mention specifics: the surgeon, the hospital, the recovery, what was difficult. Short, generic praise tells you little.
  • Check the dates. A cluster of glowing reviews in a few days deserves suspicion; steady reviews over months and years mean more.
  • Use more than one platform. Compare Google, Trustpilot and independent forums rather than relying on reviews shown on a provider's own website.

What reviews can't tell you

Whether the surgeon is qualified, whether the hospital is authorised, and what happens if something goes wrong. Check those yourself — the questions in 10 questions to ask before you pay a deposit help.

Our reviews are on Google, where we can't edit or remove them.
